Analysis

Building a model of a system that exhibits the behavior of that system.

Stratton Systems can provide full business process and systems analysis to create a complete and accurate specification for your current business model (if you have one). When integrating with existing business models or replacing them completely, it is vitally important to understand how that model works, what is right with the model, and what is wrong with it. A systems analysis is the basis for moving forward on any probject where new development is integrating with or replacing legacy systems.

Design

Modeling a collection of cooperating methods and behaviors towards the solution of a business problem.

Stratton Systems will design your new system by taking a completed systems analysis and mating it to a complete requirements analysis to identify create a clear picture of what has to be built, what has to be modified, and what should just be left behind. Whether creating a new system from scratch or modifying an existing system with new behaviors, a complete design is a key component to insuring that development is on target, on schedule and on budget. If one doesn't know what one is building, one will never be able to finish the project. A completed system design is a roadmap to a new way of working.

Implementation

The practical application of a design to fulfill the desired purpose of solving a business problem.

A system design is only an idea waiting to be built. Computer systems can be implemented in a variety of languages (the experience of Stratton System's key developer can be found on his resumé) in a variety of paradigms. The key is to use the right combination of development strategy, tools and process to create the best implementation of the system design that is the building plan for the system. The reward for this phase is a fully operational system intended to solve your problems your way.

Integration

The process of combining disparate computer systems to acheive results greater than either system can produce individually.

The nature of world is one that demands new and old work together. A newly created system may be called upon to function alongside old and antiquated systems. Integrating these two creations is a challenging task that relies on the design and implementation of the new system to allow it to adapt and merge, as much as necessary, with its counterpart. Systems integration is the least invasive and often quickest way to meet new computing needs; not requiring systemic user training and business interruption to bring the new functionality online.

Support

Guidance in adapting to a new system's procedures and methodology while correcting unplanned features as rapidly as possible.

From user training to bug fixes, Stratton Systems will be there to support you in embracing your new system to whatever extent you desire. Learning to use a new system, or even just learning to add functionality to a new system, can be a hard process in some environments. Stratton Systems will assist users in making this move. And should any unforseen problems, or unknown use conditions, be identified, Stratton Systems will make the system right. Being able to count on your system supplier is key in having confidence that your new system will fulfill your needs.

Documentation

Materials describing a systems attributes and how that system should be employed for maximum return.

Stratton Systems will provide a full range of user manuals, technical specifications and all of the analysis and design documents produced throughout the development lifecycle. These reference materials are key to bringing new people on board and to future modification of the comptuer system; whether by Stratton Systems or another company. Some people learn by doing, others learn by reading the manual first. Knowing what you have and how it works provides a level of confidence in a system that helps you learn it and use it longer.
